Since Sydney is our hometown, we always suggest a full day private or small group orientation tour led by our incredibly knowledgeable local guide, and good friend, Suzanne. We simply cannot think of a better way to discover the city that has once again won the title of the world?s best city!!!
While taking a personalized Sydney orientation tour, Suzanne is likely to explore The Sydney Fish Market and some of Sydney?s cultural attractions, such as the opulent Sydney Opera House. Enjoy the splendid views of the harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge from Mrs. Macquarie?s Chair in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Then it?s onto the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Stop by Yiribana Gallery, the largest gallery in the world devoted to Aboriginal art, and learn how art forms an essential part of Aboriginal life. As the Art Gallery houses one of the finest collections of art in Australia, travelers always have time to look at some of the other collections and browse the Gallery’s shop as well. Don?t miss the Australian Museum, one of the top natural history museums, featuring its Aboriginal exhibition and wonderful mammal, bird and insect displays.
During the day Suzanne will drive past the homes of Sydney?s rich and famous before turning toward the legendary Bondi Beach where you?ll stop by one of our favorite restaurants for a decadent lunch. Following lunch Suzanne is likely to get off of the beaten path and travel over Sydney Harbour Bridge to visit several of the Northern Beaches and Suburbs of Sydney.
We simply cannot think of a better way to spend the day than by exploring some of the best attractions that the city has to offer.
